Gaston College dominates 2026 All-Region 10 baseball team

Gaston College's regular season champions dominated the 2026 All-Region 10 baseball team.

The Rhinos had four first team selections, seven second team selections, four top defensive honorees and Gaston College's Shohn Doty was named Region 10 Coach of the Year.

Pitcher Jack Aurelius, infielders Caden Davidson and Logan Ponnett and outfielder Koy Swanson were first team selections.

Pitchers Brayden Hill and Dalton Hazlett, catcher Kandan Zollo, infielders Gabe Simmons and David Nicks, outfielder Joey Nicholson and designated hitter Nick Diehl were second team selections.

And first baseman Davidson, third baseman Ponnett, shortstop Nicks and outfielder Nicholson were all-defensive team selections.

Other top Region 10 winners were USC Sumter's Ryan Piekutoski (Player of the Year) and Florence Darlington Tech's Jackson Mullen (Pitcher of the Year).
